1st Day of School 2007

It's the first day of school for Newberg Public Schools and both girls were up, happy and ready-to-go to their first day at Austin Elementary. Even Jolee, who is not the morning-type, was able to get herself going earlier than "normal." As we do every year, we took pictures of each girl in the same place in front of the fireplace:

At the school, Michelle and I enjoyed a free latte and mocha from Newberg Christian Church. They are so awesome to do this every year.

Brynn's 5th grade class got to work pretty quick and we were only able to get a picture from the door.

However, Jolee's class was still settling down, and we got a great picture of Jolee with a classmate from last year, who is also a deskmate this year. He was pretty happy to have Jolee sitting with him.


Now Michelle has time to relax and start doing some of those things which are just hard to do when there's lots of kids around. First thing this morning: a workout.
